The Pavilion at Field of Dreams was created to give Salem a welcoming place for performances, celebrations, and the moments that bring a community closer.

A New Stage for the Next Generation.
For more than 25 years, the original wooden stage served Field of Dreams and became the backdrop for countless community memories.
But time had taken its toll. The aging structure lacked accessibility, offered little protection from unpredictable New England weather, and was ready for a new chapter.
Working with local architect RWH Architect, Field of Dreams envisioned a contemporary pavilion that would feel at home within the park’s naturally wooded setting while providing a safer, more accessible and weather-protected performance space.
That vision became a reality.

The new Pavilion was designed to make performances and community events better for everyone — from the people on stage to the families gathered on the lawn.

A permanent roof helps protect performers and equipment when the weather changes.
Accessible by Design
The Pavilion was planned with accessibility in mind so more members of our community can enjoy the space.
Made for the Park
Its design complements the natural character of Field of Dreams while creating a modern home for performances and events.

From live music to special community gatherings, the Pavilion gives Salem another reason to come together.

The Heart of Summer at Field of Dreams.
In May 2024, the community gathered to celebrate the opening of the new Pavilion, with The Salem Boyz taking the stage for its first-ever performance.
Today, the Pavilion has become home to the Field of Dreams Summer Concert Series and a gathering place where families can spread out a blanket, bring a lawn chair, enjoy live music, and spend an evening together.

The Pavilion didn’t happen because of one person or one organization.
It happened because volunteers, local businesses, sponsors, donors, and neighbors believed Field of Dreams deserved a performance space that could serve the community for years to come.
Through that generosity, Field of Dreams reached its Pavilion fundraising goal and turned an idea into something the whole community can enjoy.
The Pavilion is proof of what can happen when Salem builds a dream together.
